Beginning in June 2008, the Illinois
Department of Transportation will provide Safe Routes to School training
sessions across the state of Illinois.
These training sessions will cover the basics of Safe Routes to School, the
Five E’s (engineering, encouragement, enforcement, education and evaluation),
how to complete a School Travel Plan and how to complete an application.
The dates and
