Ronald J. McKechan, CPA, MBA Chief of Audits
Ron has over 19 years of audit experience in the Audit Section. Ron has been
Chief of audits since January 2003. He manages a staff of 12 auditors.
David B.
Fischer, CPA Supervisor, Operations and Public Entities Unit
Dave has over 10 years of audit experience in the Audit Section. Dave
specializes in construction documentation reviews and leads the Audit
Section’s Joint Construction Progress Review Program. This program combines
the expertise of both audit and engineering disciplines to review both
airport and highway construction projects to ensure that they are being
constructed in accordance with project specifications and that costs are
adequately documented for charges from contractors.

Gansz Supervisor, Consultant Unit
Gene has over 16 years of audit experience in the Audit Section. Gene has
extensive knowledge and experience in auditing engineering consultant
overhead rates.
Debbie Jarvis
Supervisor, Consultant Sub-Unit
Debbie has over 16 years of audit experience in the Audit Section. Debbie
provides audit oversight to engineering consultant pre-award audits and
contract agreement reviews. These agreement reviews resulted in cost savings
of over $6.8 million since FY 2003.
