The information provided in the selections of English Survey Point Code 
Descriptions and Metric Survey Point Code Descriptions is a standard listing of 
point codes used by the Illinois Department of Transportation for surveying 
purposes.
This information references each IDOT point code in the Geopak Survey Manager 
Database (idote.smd or idotm.smd) with a Point Code Number, standard IDOT Level, 
Color, Cell and Linestyle, including a section indicating the DTM Control for 
each point code.  The location where a specific point code can be found in the 
hierarchy of the Survey Manager Database is also noted in the section labeled 
Location in Database.
