This recreational trail extends from Rochester to
Springfield in Sangamon County . In cooperation with the
Illinois Department of Natural Resources, IDOT, the
Village of Rochester and the City of Springfield , this
six mile trail provides recreational opportunities to a
large number of users. This trail will eventually be
extended through Rochester and on to Taylorville.
