Coverage Area

District 8 provides Emergency Traffic Patrol coverage on all five Interstates within the St. Louis Metropolitan area as noted below: (See map ~365k pdf).

Interstates 64 and 55/70 from Illinois Route 111 to the Mississippi River are patrolled 24 hours a day.

All areas defined below are patrolled from 6:00 am to 12:00 am. 365 days a year.

• Interstate 255 – Coverage from the Mississippi River to Interstate 270

• Interstate 270 – Coverage from the Mississippi River to the Interstate 55/70 interchange in Troy (3I Interchange)

• Interstate 55/70 – Coverage from the Mississippi River to the 3I Interchange in Troy

• Interstate 64 – Coverage from the Mississippi River to US Route 50 in O’Fallon
