SPECIAL NOTICE
LETTING OF APRIL 29, 2005 – RECEIPT OF BIDS
The Transportation Bulletin, Invitation For Bids correctly indicates bids will
be accepted at the Harry R. Hanley Building 2300 South Dirksen Parkway,
Springfield, IL until 10:00 a.m. prevailing local time April 29, 2005.
Unfortunately, a recent article in the media indicated the Department would be
accepting bids for the April 29, 2005 Letting at the DBE Resource Center, 900
South Des Plaines, Chicago, IL.
Because of possible confusion, and to insure fairness, an additional bid box has
been established for the April 29, 2005 Letting, only, at the DBE Resource
Center, 900 South Des Plaines, Chicago, IL.
To avoid delays in the opening and reading of bids, contractors are strongly
advised to submit their bids to the Harry R. Hanley Building 2300 South Dirksen
Parkway, Springfield, IL.
