When using CompuServe, empty your disk cache of the old version of a file before you download the new version. If you don't, you may get the copy in your disk cache, not the new file from our website.

To empty the disk cache do the following while in CompuServe: Choose "Tools", "Options", " Advanced", "Empty disk cache".

Before you download a file, make sure any file with same name has been deleted from your download directory. We have discovered that when some software prompts you to "overwrite the existing file", it does not, leaving the existing file intact.

For quicker access to IDOT's website "http://www.dot.il.gov",create a "Bookmark" in Netscape Navigator, "Favorite Place" in America on Line or in CompuServe, etc. to visit our website.

Use "Refresh" or "Reload"to get the newest changes of a webpage.
