How to find project bidders and low bids:   Prior to letting: On the main letting page for the particular letting you're interested in, you'll find links for the "For Bid" and "Not For Bid" list of bidders.  The "For Bid" list are companies intending to bid as prime contractors on the job.  The "Not For Bid" list are companies that are interested in being subcontractors or suppliers. After the bids are opened:  *Note:  Immediately following the letting, the As Read Tabulation of Bids are posted on the Internet.  The following week, the "As Reads" are reviewed and corrected as necessary and posted on the Internet as the "Corrected Tabulation of Bids" Navigate to the Letting and Bidding Information page, located at http://www.dot.state.il.us/desenv/delett.html.   Click on your Letting link of choice.   Click on the “As Read Tabulation of Bids” link on the Letting page, or   Click on the “Corrected Tabulation of Bids” link, if available, on the Letting page to view the project bidders.
