| The Illinois Official Highway map is
your guide to travel throughout Illinois. It is published
every two years.
The Department of Transportation offers two maps to the
public. One is the standard regular print map and the other
is a large print map. The large print map is approximately
38 percent larger than the regular map and has half of the
state on one side of the map and the other half on the
reverse side. The reverse side of the regular print map
shows enlarged metropolitan areas for more than a dozen
communities across the state.
Both maps are available free of charge at all
Interstate Welcome Centers and IDOT's nine
district offices.
