SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking
consultants for 26 highway projects across the state. The consultants will be
selected by special committee on July 24.
The projects are:
- DISTRICT 1, construction inspection for various projects on a work order
basis.
- WILL, construction inspection for the rehabilitation of the moveable bridge
carrying US 6/52 (McDonough St.) over the Des Plaines River in Joliet.
- WILL, plan preparation for the reconstruction of IL 59 from Caton Farm Rd.
to IL 126.
- WILL, plan preparation for the reconstruction of IL 59 from US 52 to Caton
Farm Road.
- DuPAGE, plan preparation for the widening/reconstruction of IL 56
(Butterfield Rd.) from IL 59 to east of Winfield Rd.
- DuPAGE, plan preparation for the widening/reconstruction of IL 56
(Butterfield Rd.) from east of Winfield Rd. to Naperville Rd.
- COOK, plan preparation for replacement of the bridge superstructure on Joe
Orr Rd. over IL 394.
- COOK, plan preparation for structure and roadway improvements on 147th
St. over Tinley Creek.
- DISTRICT 1, field surveys of various roadway projects on a work order basis.
- DISTRICT 1, drainage studies and hydraulic reports at various locations on a
work order basis.
- DISTRICT 1, Traffic Signal Coordination and Timing (SCAT) on various systems
on a work order basis.
- DISTRICT 1, construction inspection for various projects on a work order
basis.
- WINNEBAGO, location/design report and plan preparation for the development
of US 20BR from Meridian Rd. to Rockton Ave. in Rockford.
- HENRY, construction inspection for the resurfacing of I-80 and
rehabilitation of seven bridge from I-74 to the Henry/Bureau county line.
- DISTRICT 2, construction inspection of various projects in the northern half
of the district on a work order basis.
- DISTRICT 2, construction inspection of various projects in the southern half
of the district on a work order basis.
- DISTRICT 2, land surveys at various roadway projects on a work order basis.
- DISTRICT 2, route surveys at various roadway projects on a work order basis.
- LaSALLE, design report and plan preparation for the replacement of the
Illinois River bridge at Seneca.
- DISTRICT 3, land surveys at various roadway projects on a work order basis.
- KANKAKEE, project report and plan preparation for the widening and
resurfacing of Armour Rd. from US 45/52 in Bourbonnais to IL 50 in Bradley.
- DISTRICT 4, corridor re-evaluation, location/design report, and
environmental impact statements for a new highway connection from Peoria to
Macomb.
- HANCOCK, plan preparation for work on IL 336/US 136 from east of IL 94 at
Carthage to 0.8 mile east of the McDonough County line in Hancock County.
- EFFINGHAM, right of way plan preparation for the rehabilitation of IL 33
from Salt Creek in Effingham to the Jasper County line.
- MADISON, construction inspection for the widening of IL 159 from I-55/70 to
I-270.
- WILLIAMSON, project report and plan preparation for the rehabilitation of
I-57 from north of IL 13 to south of Old IL 13 (West Main St.).
