Fifth Biennial National Fraud Awareness Conference on Transportation Infrastructure Programs
The Illinois Department of Transportation is proud to be
hosting the Fifth Biennial National Fraud Awareness Conference on Transportation
Infrastructure Programs. The conference will be held in Chicago on July 28-31,
2008.
The goal of the conference is to sharpen fraud awareness and to share ideas
to detect, deter, and prevent fraud in infrastructure projects. The conference
has previously been held in Atlanta, St. Louis, Seattle, and Orlando.
IDOT speakers will include Secretary Milt Sees, Director Ann Schneider,
Director Christine Reed, Director Dan Kennelly, Chief of Audits Ron McKechan,
and Audit Supervisor Gene Gansz. Other invited speakers include U.S. Congressman
Daniel Lipinski, USDOT Secretary Mary Peters, USDOT Inspector General Calvin
Scovel III, and AASHTO Executive Director John Horsley.
