ROCKFORD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation will hold an informational open house in Rockford on September 9 to discuss the proposed improvement of IL 251 (Kishwaukee Street).

The informational meeting will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, at the Ken-Rock Community Center, 3218 11th St., in Rockford. The public is invited to attend at any time during the meeting hours. There will be no formal presentation.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed improvement of IL 251 from 15th Avenue to Harrison Avenue in Rockford, and to receive public input on the proposal.
