The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is pleased to announce a Public Meeting regarding improvements to both Interstate 190 (I-190) and Mannheim Road (U.S. Route 12/45). The proposed project will include improvements to I-190 from Cumberland Avenue (Illinois Route 171) to the O’Hare Taxiway Bridges, and Mannheim Road from Irving Park Road (Illinois Route 19) to north of Higgins Road (Illinois Route 72). The Public Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following information will be available at the meeting:

• Exhibits including preliminary alignments, typical sections, traffic volumes and environmental information
• Video traffic simulation
• Public Comment Forms

The meeting will be conducted in an open house format. IDOT and consultant representatives will be available to answer questions.

The meeting will be held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, which is located at 10249 W. Irving Park Road in Schiller Park, Illinois (see map). Parking is free in the hotel parking lot. The meeting will be accessible to handicapped individuals. Persons requiring special assistance or a bilingual interpreter should call Adam Lintner at (847) 705-4085.
