Purpose of the Meeting is:
- To present the purpose and need for the
improvement
- To discuss the proposed scope of work
which could include reconstructing the roadway
to provide additional through lanes, turn
lanes, and a continuous median.
- To obtain public input prior to designing
the proposed roadway on issues including
the following:

o Safety Needs
o Lane Requirements
o Access Needs
o Drainage Problems

o Median Type
o Intersection Problems
o Environmental Concerns
o Pedestrian and Bicycle Needs |

An audio-visual presentation will be
shown every half-hour beginning at 4:00 PM, with
the last showing at 7:30 PM. Exhibits will be on
display with the Illinois Department of Transportation
personnel available to discuss the project and to
answer questions.
This meeting will be accessible to
handicapped individuals. Anyone needing special assistance
