2003 IDOT HOTLINE TOTALS

The Department's hotline received a total of 416 calls from the public since its implementation June 2003. The hotline was established for the public to report abuse of state work time and vehicles, as well as to report on the positive aspects of IDOT employees work.

The Secretary urges the public to continue to call the hotline with their comments about the job the Department is doing, and with their complaints as well. The number is 1-800-452-4368.

"We will continue to report monthly on the phone calls received, and refine ways we view the data to improve our performance with our customers," Martin added.

Following is a summary of the calls received in 2003.
