SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation will open bids on April 26, 2002 for various road and bridge improvement projects throughout the state. Also included are 16 aeronautics projects and one water resource project.

Madison County, IL 255, District 8, 0.66 kilometer of grading, paving and signing for the reconstruction of IL 140 at Bethalto including right and left turn lanes and the installation of traffic signals at the Point Diamond Interchange.
