SCHAUMBURG -- On April 1, weather permitting, a
project to replace the 107 th Street and Throop Street bridges
over I-57 will begin. All traffic will utilize the westbound
lanes of 107 th Street and the northbound lanes of Throop Street
.
The $2.8 million dollar project will also close
107 th Place during stage one at Throop Street . Motorists can
use 108 th Street as an alternate route. There will also be
nighttime lane and periodic shoulder closures on I-57. The
contractor is Dunnet Bay of Glendale Heights, Illinois.
