IL 21 BRIDGE AND ROAD PROJECT CONTINUES IN GURNEE

SCHAUMBURG - On April 5th, weather permitting, only one lane will be open in both directions on IL 21 (Milwaukee Avenue) between Washington Street to just south of IL 120 in Gurnee. There will also be temporary lane closures in effect until April 5th.
In addition, there will be daytime lane closures on IL 120 and Washington Street beginning April 5th.

The $27.8 million dollar project includes bridge reconstruction, improved highway lighting, and new traffic lanes. In addition, the ramps at IL 120 and IL 21 will remained closed until July.

Motorists should drive with care through the construction zone and watch for workers. Delays are expected through the area
The contractor is Dunnet Bay Construction of Glendale Heights, Illinois.
