OVERNIGHT REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR KENNEDY EXPRESS LANES,
TEMPORARY CLOSURE FROM EDENS JUNCTION TO ADDISON STREET

SCHAUMBURG – The Kennedy Expressway reversible lanes will be closed for overnight repairs between the Edens Expressway junction and Addison Street on Saturday October 18th, from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Weather permitting, crews will reconstruct a damaged section of barrier wall between the inbound Kennedy Expressway and the reversible lanes near Addison Street. The express lanes will remain open for inbound travel between Addison and downtown. Motorists traveling into the city can access the express lanes at the inbound slip ramp east of Addison Street.

In addition to the express lane closure, the left shoulder at Addison Street will be closed from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM while repair work is underway.
