SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation has selected consultants for 25 projects across the state. The consultants were selected by special committee on December 11.

The projects by county, and the consulting firm selected, are:

  1. McHENRY, plans for the reconstruction of US 14 from west of Lake Shore Dr. to northwest of Lucas Road. Teng & Associates, Inc., Chicago.

  2. McHENRY, plans for the reconstruction of US 14 from northwest of Lucas Road to north of IL 176, and widening from north of IL 176 to Crystal Lake Ave. H.W. Lochner, Inc., Chicago.

  3. COOK, plans for the replacement of the Chicago Heights Road bridge over Butterfield Creek. Primera Engineers, Ltd., Chicago.

  4. WILL, location/design report for the improvement of I-57 at Stuenkel Road. Clark Dietz, Inc., Chicago.

  5. DuPAGE, feasibility study for modifying the interchange of York Road at Roosevelt Road. Louis Berger & Assoc., Inc., Chicago.

  6. DISTRICT 1, traffic signal coordination and timing of various systems on a work order basis. Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc., Elgin.

  7. DISTRICT 1, land surveys for various roadway projects on a work order basis. Marchese and Sons, Inc., Roselle.

  8. DISTRICT 1, traffic data collection for traffic studies on a work order basis. Regina Webster and Assoc., Inc., Chicago.

  9. DISTRICT 1, bituminous concrete mix designs on a work order basis. JFG Technical Center, Inc., Thornton.

  10. WHITESIDE, corridor study for a multi-lane highway between Fulton and I-88 west of Rock Falls. HDR Engineering, Inc., Chicago.

  11. DISTRICT 2, construction inspection on various projects in the northern half of the district. Cemcon Ltd., Winfield.

  12. DISTRICT 2, construction inspection on various projects in the southern half of the district. STV Inc., Chicago.

  13. DISTRICT 2, Phase I and/or Phase II work for various projects on a work order basis. WHKS & Co., East Dubuque.

  14. HANCOCK/McDONOUGH, plans for a new four-lane expressway from 1 mile west of the Hancock/McDonough County line to 1.7 miles east of IL 61, including dual structures over the LaMoine River. Horner & Shifrin, Inc., Fairview Heights.

  15. DISTRICT 4, construction inspection on various projects. Rapps Engineering & Applied Science, Springfield.

  16. DISTRICT 6, Phase I and/or Phase II work for various projects on a work order basis. Homer L. Chastain & Assoc., LLP, Decatur.

  20. MADISON, construction inspection for the rehabilitation of the McKinley Bridge in Venice. Crawford, Murphy, & Tilly, Inc., East Alton.

  21. DISTRICT 8, land surveys for various roadway projects on a work order basis. LTR Land Surveying, Inc., Waterloo.

  22. MADISON, construction inspection for grading and paving of 3.17 miles of IL 255 from IL 140 to Fosterburg Road. SCI Engineering, Inc., Fairview Heights.

  23. DISTRICT 8, construction inspection on various projects. Hoelscher Engineering, PC, Fairview Heights.

  24. STATEWIDE, waste assessment investigation studies and designs at various locations statewide on a work order basis. Weston Solutions, Inc., Chicago.
