The IDOT Paratransit Vehicle Catalog is designed to provide a general description of the vehicles to be purchased in FY 1996-97 by IDOT for use in paratransit service statewide. The descriptions provided are based upon the current specifications and may vary from the actual vehicle purchased.

There are four vehicle types offered under this catalog which, through the selection of available options and alternatives, can be configured to meet a wide range of operating needs and service requirements. It should be noted that due to the cost and complexity of the Heavy Duty Paratransit vehicle, it is not available to grantees seeking funding through the Section 5310 program.

All vehicles comply with the American with Disabilities Act, and a non-lift or ramp option is no longer available.
