Holiday Mobilization Plus Program

Holiday Mobilization Plus grants are designed to increase occupant protection usage and to reduce DUI through hire back enforcement. This grant program provides for participation in special enforcement campaigns such as Click It or Ticket and You Drink & Drive. You Lose. Grants are available for up to 8 Holiday Time Periods. Participation in the Memorial Day and Labor Day Campaigns is mandatory to participate in this program. Additional SBEZ’s and RSC’s hours can be “earned” equal to the number of hours utilized for the Memorial and Labor Day Campaigns. The alcohol component of this grant program requires SFST trained officers for FFY 2009.

In order to apply for this program the Highway Safety Project Agreement, Conditions and Certifications – Holiday Mobilization Plus form must be downloaded and completed. Two different versions of the form are available. The TS 08a contains macros that will do most of the calculations on the form for you automatically. To use this version you must have macros enabled in Word on your computer before you open the form. If you don’t know how to enable macros ask your IT support people, DTS cannot help you with this problem.

If you do not have macros enabled you will receive an error message every time you tab past a calculation field. The form and calculations will still work but the error messages are annoying.

If you do not have macros enabled you should use the TS 08aa form that does not contain the macros.

Application deadline is April 3, 2008 for the FFY 2009 Holiday Mobilization Plus Program

The other forms listed below are used for the administration of the grant once it is awarded.
