US 30 Environmental Impact Statement and Phase I Design Report

What is the project schedule?

IDOT plans, designs, and constructs projects in three phases. In regard to the US 30 project, Phase I is the Environmental Impact Statement and Design Report, Phase II is the preparation of the final design and construction bid documents, and Phase III is the actual construction of the project. The project team's goal is to complete Phase I in 40 months. This process started in July of 2007. The funding for Phases II (Design) and Phase III (Construction) is not currently available and a better estimate of the length of time required for phases can be prepared after Phase I is complete. Land acquisition can begin after Phase I has been completed. No funding has been secured for land acquisition at this time.
