US 67 Corridor
Rock Island to Monmouth
Since
1982, the Department has invested $34.9 million on
upgrading this 2-lane, 38-mile section of US 67.
Currently there are bridge improvements, resurfacing,
engineering and other pre-construction activities programmed
in the FY 2008-2013 Proposed Highway Improvement Program at
a cost of $11 million. Due to the close proximity of
Interstate 74, additional lanes are not proposed along
this section.
